SMath Studio is a service that assists in generating and solving math equations, formulas graphs from functions and, generally, proceeds and solve various math calculations. It aids numeric and symbolic information and contains all set functions. Application can be easily extended based on your needs. Goal: The goal of this course is to understand how power system components are modeled, and to apply these models in the analysis, design, and operation of modern power systems.

Three-phase AC systems, generators, transformers, transmission lines, one-line diagrams, per-unit system, network calculations, power-flow studies, power-flow control and regulation. PREREQ: ECE 212. COREQ: ECE 300.

  • PowerWorld will be used to illustrate the operation and control of modern power systems.
  • Flexibility for turning in homework and taking tests will be given if you let me know in advance.
